I'm a huge Castlevania fan and want to buy anything Castlevania.  It would be cool to have maybe a Pirated castlevania famicom game but I've never heard of these anywhere.  Does anyone know if these exist and where I can get them?

CASTLEVANIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. I know there are hacks like Castlevania Extreme ans such but I want a physical cart.

I've got Castlevania 1 on a multicart and Dracula Kid seems kinda common.

Is that Castlevania 1 the US version without the enhancements though? It must be a good quality pirate if it has the custom chips in it.

I thought that only Castlevania 3 (Akumajo Densetsu) had the custom chips?

Yeah.  I don't think the original Castlevania used any MMC at all, let alone an advanced one like VRC6.

Akumajou Densetsu did use the VRC6 chip.  The NES version didn't have the chip, though, so I don't see why pirates couldn't have found away around it as well.

I've often wondered what the pirate versions of gimmick did since the original fc game had the fme-7. Do the pirates drop the music or ???
