Is there a source for replacement sleeves & clear acrylic cases? I have some loose disks, and I would love it if there was an alternative to just homemade sleeves for these loose disks in our collections.

You know the disk system packaging is pretty generic - I've seen the same sty;le, but bigger for CDs and floppy disks.  I've just not found one the same size.
My point is - I believe they're out there.  Best bet might be an office supplies catalogue.  Hope that's of help.

I've looked for FDS cases but have never been able to locate them either. They've gotta be out there somewhere, given all the pirate disks that used them.

what were famicom disks derived from? some other type of pre-existing disk. Sorry I cant help with a name but Im sure Eric knows what Im talking about.  Perhaps searching for these original disks may turn up cases?

They are based on the Mitsumi Quick Disk format. It would be pretty cool if someone could source these.

I don't think the cases (if there were any) for Mitsumi's disks would work, since the disks need modified to function in the FDS.

I just got my hands on some ZIP-disks with protective cases, and FDS-disks fits in the ZIP-disk's cases (the FDS-disk in the picture is in a plastic bag inside the case):

It's not a perfect fit, but the disk doesn't rattle around in there (at least not when it's still in its plastic bag) and is well protected. Good enough for me! :D
