well i got my FC today and it was in kinda okay condition. i unpacked it and plugged it in to both TV and power grid i flipped the switch and NOTHING it only messed up my other channels. i searched every channel on my tv but i still couldnt find it. the seller included me a tv-plug that wasn't originally with the famicom (it's manufactured by nintendo) and i cant seem it to work i checked everything on a transformator on an Fclone that i bought a while ago its the same polarity 1 volt too low current (DC) and 850ma. so i dont think its related to the power supply.
its set to CH 1 and GAME so plz help.

Try channel 64 or around there. That happened to me so make sure you check every channel.

It is a bit of trial and error finding the channel on your telly. Make sure you set your tv for "cable" option if you must to get more channels to display. What I did was turn it on with a cart inside and just flip through the channels. To be honest, it seemed like it didn't appear on any at first. Finally  I got it to display on channel 95. Later I switched to 96 for better picture quality. Those are the channels my pc-engine uses too. So ya, good luck to you bud.

Channel 95 works for me and seems to be the most common channel. If the standard Famicom was AV out, this would be avoided.

It must be because you have a PAL tv.

is there any way to fix it?

You can only convert RF -> AV through something like a VCR, with the downside being deteriorated quality.

Even if such a converter exists I think it would be expensive. It might be cheaper to buy a 2nd Famicom with AV out or a Twin Famicom (has also AV out), or a Famicom titler.  ;)

There are adapters for AV-> RF, though.  ;) Doesn't help much, I know.

hmmm
buying an AV famicom from USA for like 70$ and shppig for 70$ too that would be a bit expensive

buying a twin fami sounds like an idea theres one on tradera.se but ill bet its gonna be expensive its about 70$ right now and 11 days to go :(

im never gonna get my fami to work properly  :'(

or i could mod my fami (ruining it XD)

edit: i was better off with my cheap famiclone
