First system you ever owned?

The Atari 2600. I remember I was imressed by that back in the day.  Wow, times change. 

I hated those darn things.  I never found them impressive.  It was like every game was blocks and blocks revenge

Maybe it has to do with age?

How old are you? Maybe you were used to better stuff before. But all I saw before the Atari 2600 was some Pong machine, and the 2600 was definitely better than that. 
No need to say I was like blown away when I first saw an NES in action.
