As most you know, I'm a big Megaman fan and thanks to the Powerpak, I'm able to play all sorts of ROM hacks on my NES.

Due to the popularity of Mega/Rockman all over the world, ROM hacks of the NES games constantly surface, some really quite spectacular.

This is a thread for people to easily find Rockman and Megaman ROM hacks. Post the name of the hack, a url link to where you can download the patch, an indication of which ROM you should patch (be sure to specify Megaman (U) or Rockman (J) roms!) the difficulty rating and a short description.

I'll go first. Please use this format.

Megaman Ultra
http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/132/
Patch: Megaman II (U)
Difficulty: 8/10
Info: An extensive hack of the US version of Megaman 2 that features brand new audio, graphics, level design, boss AI and weapons. A whole new Megaman 2 experience.

Rockman no Constancy
http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/321/
Patch: Rockman 2 (J)
Difficulty: 9/10
Info: An outstanding achivement in ROM hacking, this game features some of the very best custom soundtracks you'll find in a ROM hack, great level design, new graphics and aggressive enemies. A real challenge.

Megamari
http://insectduel.t35.com/Megamari8bit.ZIP
Patch: Rockman 1 (J)
Difficulty: 6/10
Info: Megamari is a PC doujin game based on Megaman 2 and bullet-hell shooters.  This is an impressive port in the form of a ROM hack to not the second, but the first game. All levels are different and feature new graphics. Same music though.

Roll-Chan 2
http://insectduel.t35.com/RollChan2.zip
Patch: Rockman 2  (J)
Difficulty: 5/10
Info: This is a simple sprite hack that replaces Megaman with his younger sister robot Roll. Ever wish you could play as Roll outside of Powered Up? Well now you can!

Rockman 4 DX
http://insectduel.t35.com/rock4dx.zip
Patch: Rockman 4 (J)
Difficulty 7/10
Info: This is a very cool hack of the fourth game. Tricky levels require you to make good use of the Rush items and Balloon. In the build I've last played, Ringman's stage doesn't seem to be finished. Maybe I just have an old version.

Let's see what you guys have!
