The nes/famicom scene doesn't seem as big as I knew it like 5 years ago. NES world was the biggest back then and now i look at it and would swear it's been inactive for years. Are there any other communities out there besides this place that still live? If it's foreign it doesn't matter either regardless of language. I just want to see the community I use to know alive again!!

Don't know of any other Famicom sites in English, nor any in another language because I don't really speak another language. That's why this website is great.   As for the NES, a site that I like to go to is NintendoAge.com  They have a lot of information about NES games, and they're big on homebrew.  They also have bunnyboy (The guy who runs the RetroUSB website) registered on there.  So naturally he talks about his stuff on the site, too.
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat

you can participate in a not too big forum and join teams, tournaments & competitions.  You can play Nes, 2600, SMS, Genesis, TG16, Snes, coin-op & 32X games there, it started out with just nes games 4 years ago, you can play all of these right on your web browser.
