Japanese famicom on pal??

bought a jap famicom and trying to get it to work on a pal tv. I get a black and whit picture and noise no sound. How can you get it to work better, like color and sound. Please say this is the place for this!!

btw if its got ntsc playback wount work right? what connections does it need?
