Hey just recently picked up a twin famicom and am really digging how fun the whole thing is.  Especially the disk system.  Love that thing.  But the problem is I'm having a tough time getting games around here.  So I was wondering if anyone wanted to trade for my NES games or sell me some of their famicom games?  Or tell me good places to look for some?  Thanks guys!!!

If you happen to have a whopping $100, you can get 50 famicom games here:

There seems to be some good titles in there.

Also, what kind of NES games do you have? I may or may not want to trade with you!

Problem is.. in that link you showed, seller states that he haven't tested the games. Has anybody bought one of this lot and got working carts?

They should work, and if they don't you can always clean them. It's a very easy process.

Non working cartridges are a very rare occurrence. ROM cartridge is one of the best formats because of its instant access times and they're nearly indestructible, unlike tapes or CDs.

As MS-DOS4 said, the worst thing that could happen is that their contacts are dirty.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.  I suppose $2 a game isn't that bad.  And as far as what I have, unfortunately the list I had is long gone so I'm in the process of creating a new one.  If there is something you're looking for let me know.  Anyone have a good place to score a lot of famicom disks like the 50 carts listed above?

I can honestly say I have never had a cart that wouldn't play after a bit of cleaning, neither FC or NES. Gotta love 80's technology. Those things were built to last. Although the systems are another story. The NES and Disk System has some design flaws.

Thats a nice collection, some of those games are worth about $5+. Its like getting $150+ worth of games for only $100. Thats an excellent savings.

I have both Fami & FDS games for trade if you're interested. Stuff like Cocona World, Nazo no Kabe, Exciting Billiards, Green Beret.... maybe some others... for the FDS, and JESUS, Gradius, Fire Emblem Gaiden and probably a few others for Famicom. As for what I'm looking for, mostly boxed NES games, tho some I'd take cart only (and I'd take empty boxes too). Looking for:

Princess Tomato
Lolo 3
Bonk's Adv (LOL long shot)
Chiller
Cowboy Kid
Dungeon Magic
Faria
Fire & Ice
Gargoyle's Quest II (boxed only)
Gemfire
Ghosts & Goblins (boxed only)
King Neptune's Adventure
King's Quest V (boxed only)
Menace Beach (LOL)
Tombs & Treasure (boxed)
Zombie Nation

If you have any of these for trade, send me a PM and I'll give you a complete list of games I have for trade.

Hey I don't think I have any of those.  Closest I have is a boxed Famicom Gargoyles Quest II.  Thanks though!
