Hey, some emulators that support game genie code use also support using a memory search function to help make your own codes. If you'd like to make your own, simply use the utility to search for your exact (current) number of lives each time you die. It may take 3 or 4 searches to get the right value down. You may have to restart. Eventually simply by searching for the value you can narrow it down to one or two codes. Change the value to 99. It should change on the screen. If you have two values, test them both for 99 by themselves. On a rare occasion you have to set both values to 99. That way you can make a game genie code for yourself.

Sorry that my directions aren't very specific. It's because I'm rushing out the door and I'm not sure exactly which FC/NES Emulators support this function, but every one that has it executes it in nearly the same way. If you're having problems, there's a guide right here. http://romhack.wikia.com/wiki/NES_Game_Genie_code_tutorial I went ahead and followed the instructions to see if they were straightforward, and I managed to make a code for you. Hopefully it helps. Basically your lives stay at 2 and never decrease.

I need to get one of those FC Game Genies. I don't even know if a game genie works on FDS games on the Famicom, but this code definitely works in an emulator (and thus should work if the Game Genie works on the real thing.)There's a few FC titles that are good games but seemingly made for masochists that really need to have the difficulty level equalized. Gotta wait till pay day though before I can begin my search. If anyone has one and doesn't mind holding it for me to buy it until next week, contact me. I can pay with Paypal. If not, I'll make a post when I get paid.
