Do you buy games for consoles you don't own?

I'm currently buying games for the Nintendo DS which I don't own. I'm focusing on the RPGs as those are the ones I like to play the most and will hold up their value in the long run so can't go wrong with that!

the only game i bought for a system I dont have is Einhander.
then again I can play it on my PC anytime.
Love the game, music and everything about it. Never finished it tho.

I don't do it, but I wish I had done it about 6 months ago when I found some amazing bargains on Mega Drive and PC Engine games at some local shops.

I passed them up because I didn't own a Mega Drive or PC Engine at the time.

Now I do have a Mega Drive and PC Engine.  And there are no bargains on Mega Drive or PC Engine games to be found.  So frustrating!

Yeah...I bought Sonic 2 for the Genesis...no Genesis yet
