Hi Everyone,

I have for sale some Nintendo Lite systems from China. These all come brand new and are Chinese original products not licences by Nintendo. Each unit comes with the following specs:

- 2GB built-in memory.
- Expandable TF card slot.
- 2.8 QVGA LTPS screen.
- Preloaded ROMS (GBA)
- Direct Audio support: MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC.
- Direct Video support: RMVB, RM, AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG, MP4, ASF.
- Direct Picture support: JPG, BMP, BIF, PNG.
- Built-in FM tuner and recorder.
- E-Book support (with background audio multi-tasking).
- Integrated audio recording (WAV format).
- USB 2.0 port.
- Compatable with Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
- RSA Certified (Questionable claim given the products nature)

Asking: $69.99 Sale price! - $59.99 (1 Black & 1 White left. manufacture forgot to add the tiny Nintendo decal on the faceplate for the white unit).

Each unit is brand new and was powered on only once to verify functionality and that it plays ok. These items are guaranteed not to be DOA, but come with no manufactures warranty, or warranty of any kind (From Nintendo or otherwise). Unfortunately given the nature of these goods from China, they are being sold as-is. Shipping will depend on buyers location.

Thanks!

You say the white ones don't have the Nintendo sticker - but the images show this one does?

Do they have L and R buttons?
Do you have screen specs?  (size, depth, pixel resolution)?
Any idea of battery time?
Any independent reviews floating around?
Do they play any other emulators? Can you stick famicom or C64 games on for example?
Basically, can you provide any extra info?

How much would one of these cost to ship to the UK my friend?  Sorry for the multitude of questions, these look great if they have the potential, but a strict no-no if they fail to deliver...

@L___E___T: Hey again. No worries, as I'll try to answer as best as I can. (^_^);

Q: You say the white ones don't have the Nintendo sticker - but the images show this one does?
A: Only 1 white unit had this small omission. This picture was taken before the other white ones sold out. There is only 1 white and 1 black unit left.

Q: Do they have L and R buttons?
A: Yes.

Q: Do you have screen specs?
A: Unfortunately no. Only whats listed on the box, which I copied into the description.

Q: Any idea of battery time?
A: No idea, but I would assume it would last as long as other similar devices. Maybe 3-4 hours? You'd have to try it yourself, but most devices from China last about that long.

Q: Are any reviews floating around?
A: Not that I know of. These kinds of things usually never see the light of day outside of China (for obvious IP reasons). If there are any reviews, I'm certainly not aware of it.

Q: Do they play any other emulators?
A: I don't know as I didn't do anything with them except verify that they work. I tried to leave everything as stock and new as possible. The unit default boots in to the game section and from what I can tell it comes with about 100 random GBA games already loaded. From what I remember, the games emulate just fine and to my layman eyes looked pretty much like a GBA would perform (though I only tried for like a minute, and I admit I'm no expert...). You can kick into the emu menu where you can do save states and random junk like that, or kick out back to the OS. I assume you can add more games by flash card or USB (to connect to internal storage)

Q: How much would shipping be to the UK?
A: I'll figure it out and let you know.  :-)

All in all, it seems like a neat little device. It natively plays all the right video and audio formats and comes with a few games to boot. I personally wanted to keep one since it's a pretty nifty novelty to keep at my desk (After all no one would have one), but my significant other said I had way too much stuff already :-(
