Hi

I'm looking to buy a FDS from a seller in the U.S. Unfortunately I can only find them so far on ebay from .jp with absurd shipping charges and weeks of waiting. Also, if someone is selling a bundle of a Famicom system + FDS I would be willing to buy that.

Thanks!

(Someone from a different forum (SDA) informed me of this famicom community, just an explanation for this being my first post.  :D)

I sell restored & refurbished systems; I have only a few FDS units remaining in stock, and I also sell Sharp twin Famicom (FDS + Famicom in one) and normal Famicom systems, including A/V modified and custom units. All units have a 1-year warranty.

You can see photos of some of my stock and my work quality in my online catalogue:bomb:

Oh awesome!

Do you think i'll have any issues on my U.S. TV? I'll be using it on an older CRT style and also a newer 46" sony (maybe). If there are possible issues then I'm very interested in just a stand alone loose FDS. Also, quick question, is the ram adapter an add on for specific games or is that something that's needed for all? I'm new to the whole famicom world, so I apologize for my ignorance.

Also, if you happen to have smb2j could you also include that? Thanks for the fast response

The RAM-Adapter is both required and included. You insert it into the game slot in place of a normal game cassette / cartridge.

If your CT has A/V input, then you should buy a system with A/V modification or a Twin system, as the latter has A/V out by default. It is possible to produce a video signal on RF, but this is not always as reliable on USA displays.

I do have 'Super Mario Bros. 2' FDS disks in stock.  :bomb:
