EDIT: Mods please delete/lock this thread. Decided not to sell Gimmick as I was on the fence about it in the first place and for my other items I will take my sales elsewhere or create a new thread. This one is already too full of spam and random comments.

EDIT: Pictures of Gimmick! and Tom and Jerry. Adventure Island IV to come later.

I took a picture of Gimmick! and Tom and Jerry together to prove these are my pics, as it is highly unlikely anyone else on the net would take a picture of these two games together.

150$ for Tom and Jerry you are crazy. And since you have only 4 posts no one will give you 150$ or 300$....
I am back everyone :)

I sold a near mint Gimmick! here to a member last year for $250. He didn't seem to have any problems. I also have a ton of feedback on Neo-Geo.com as a seller, selling AES carts and systems valued at 600$+

Do you want me to sell my Gimmick! to you for $10 because I'm a new member? If you were really interested, you could ask me if I had any other feedback from other sites, ebay etc. But you didn't because you have no intention to buy any of my items, just to troll my thread.

I lived in Japan for over four years, Tom and Jerry regularly sells for 8,000 to 10,000 YEN there. The US dollar is worth next to nothing right now compared to the YEN. My copy is also like new. A lot of common US titles are very expensive in their Japanese versions. IE Comix Zone being 20$ in the US and 200$ plus in Japan. Do your research. And also, if you are not interested in my items, don't bother commenting and hurting my future sales. Learn to give your input without coming off as a condescending jerk. Thanks.

How soon are you looking to sell?  If I can save up in time I'd be interested in the Gimmick!

No proof pics either ???

I mentioned in my original post that I will provide pics soon and any interested people can PM me for pics earlier. I literally just moved back to California after living in Tokyo for years. Ton of things to do. Wanted to post these up to gauge interest in the meantime. I am not sure if you got my PM yet but I responded to you inquiry asking for pictures. I am also interested in your AV Famicom depending on the condition.

I will be posting them here shortly anyway though to sooth tonev's misplaced anger.

Could you tell me how you got those Gimmick! carts?? What's the cheapest price of cart-only version?? How much do they usually stay for?? I figured out that it's just impossible to find any of these, let alone for a reasonable price... so I'm only talking about non-CIB version :P .

I have heard of a person getting Gimmick! in small mom and pop shops outside of Akihabara for $1 CIB, I have also seen a loose cart for 3,000 YEN(Around 40 USD).

I rarely see it for sale, but when I do now it is about the going price they go for on US forums, $100 for loose, $250-300 for complete.

It's definitely a game you can get lucky with on a find in Japan though as it is a bit obscure. Not everyone knows it's value. I bought the copy I have now a few years ago for 7,000 YEN, around $90 USD but I got incredibly lucky on that. The same shop now sells them when they are around for much more. I think they realized the value after I bought their copy so quickly.

To be honest I am only selling because I need quick money now after moving. It was quite expensive, cost me $500 alone to mail all my games here. ><

I am really on the fence about selling it which is why my asking price is the max price it goes for.

If you send me a PM once you have the money, I can see what I can do about locating one in Japan for you. I have friends there who can probably snag you a copy.

I think tonev tries to scare off all the new posters. Don't worry, you're welcome here.  ;)

It's OK. I have been lurking here quite a while but I rarely post on forums unless I am selling something. :)

I understand negative sentiments towards new sellers as there are many scammers out there. Anyone doubting should contact the seller via PM beforehand and get their pictures/feedback/etc. though before ruining their sale thread and making others doubt.

Also there is no reason for anyone to comment negatively on pricing, especially in a collectors market where different people value different things. I'm an avid Megadrive collector so I know what things go for and what things are worth in certain grades of condition. With that being said no decent person would walk into someones garage sale and start yelling to them about how their prices are outrageous, so no need to do it on the internet behind a screen either. Simply don't buy and walk away.

Anyway, I hold no permanent negative feelings about this site or tonev, just surprised by the hostility and hoping I can make a new thread later without a ton of spam!

Cheers.
