Could A Famicom Player 2 Controller Be Modded For The SNES?

I'm saving up money for a Super Famicom to Famicom adapter on eBay, and I already have a Supaboy that I can use as a makeshift Super Famicom, until I can take the tabs off of my ACTUAL SNES console. Could the 2nd player Famicom controller be modded to work as an SNES controller? I know that it wouldn't work for the NES, but if I can get the adapter, then hopefully, a RetroN 5 with a Famicom slot this summer, it would be perfect for my Famicom Zelda cart, and any Famicom game that uses the mic in the 2nd player Famicom controller for an extra bit of cheating. Any way it could be done, since I have a few extra SNES controllers gathering dust?

Since the Famicom controllers are almost identical to the SFC controllers except that they have less buttons it would probably be possible, but the mic would most likely not work, only the buttons. It's read in a different way than the buttons and I doubt the SFC has this feature.

Just wondering. What about an NES light gun? I have a Famicom multicart with Duck Hunt, Wild Gunman, and Hogan's alley, and if the Famicom cart adapter works well enough on my Supaboy, I'd like to have something less clunky than the Super scope to play the games with. Also, if the mod could be done, would it work for SNES gun games? I saw a few copies of Super Scope 6 at my local retro gaming store, and I only have the grey and orange light NES guns. I figure the orange one would make a good SNES gun, if I painted it closer to the SNES grey color, and paint the 'guard' black.

I don't know but probably not. And if it's possible you would not be able to use it instead of a Super Scope since they work differently.

Nevermind. Found the gun for Lethal Enforcers. It should work, since it's an SNES light gun.
