I mainly collect Gamecube (GCN) items. I collect other items too, but I'm focusing on my GCN collection currently.

These are my Game Boy that I got from Manuel  :yoshi: Format NTSC-J? not sure since region free.
(Currently in process of fixing them, but have a ton of stuff going on right now)
Got them earlier this month.

The original Game Boy is my all time favorite Nintendo Handheld. I have been obsessed with it since i first laid my eyes on it when i was a kid, probably 9 or 10.
I currently have about 10 of them. About 6 need some sort of repair. I got some of them for around a $1 a piece. Love these things. I can never have enough
I am a big Nintendo fan! especially GameBoy, N64, SFC, GC. And of course Mario games
I collect SFC/N64 mainly. Some rare famicom stuff too. Also miscellaneous video game stuff.

By region, I mean language. Japanese Super Mario Land game would be NTSC-J. English is NTSC-U (Sometimes PAL), and French, Portuguese, Swedish, etc. is PAL.
BTW, personally I prefer the GBC. I don't like playing in black/white or black/green.

To me the GBC is the ugly duckling of the GB family - no backlight or nice analog dot matrix, the general case design isn't iconic and the hardware is bit like a nerfed NES.  I like the simplicity of the GB and the capabilities of the GBA.

im not sure I quite understand?  NTSC-U isn't the same as PAL.

He's saying that English carts are more often than not (at least in North America) NTSC, but that there are some English PAL carts floating around.
Most PAL carts will of course have English on, as the UK is a reasonably big market on its own, bigger than France or Germany for example (current day).

Plus that most countries in Europe doesn't get their own translation so English is used (including Scandinavia).

MaxXimus and L___E___T: GBA and GBA SPs are my favorites. I just like GBC better than GB. USA = NTSC-U. UK = PAL. Both are English-speaking countries.
Also, the Gameboy Micro is (arguably) the 'ugly duckling' of the GB family.

So is Australia. Most of Europe and Australia gets the very same version as UK. For Gameboy where NTSC/PAL doesn't apply (but we still call the regions so for convenience) the European (non-German, France etc) and US versions are usually identical.
