SAME AGE, different location :(

BE SCARED!

To be true, I like both color "variants". ;) Truly. The yellowed one has something to it.

133MHz

Something nasty ;D

A couple of my PC monitors suffered from that, but only halfway. Also my SNES is a 1992 model and it's good as new.

this is where i have my famicom, nes, and master system. yes my tv is dusty.

Hi, djdac!
I just loved this photo!
I can smell a severe 8 bit addiction, which
is a blessing from the Invisible Famicom!

One thing remains mysterious to me...

Is that notebook for Metroid maps and
Rockman passwords?  ;D

I must confess that I have various notepads
full of passwords and dungeon maps
everywhere here at the Prophet's Lair!!!
It is very cool to write all the codes in paper!
Very "oldschool-ish"!
Now Playing: Dragon Ball Fusions, Yggdra Union

Jedi Master Baiter

Nowadays since I have my laptop here next to my TV, I type them all out.  Mega Man 5 was the last game subject to having the passwords written on paper. :(

133MHz

I used to write important passwords (like the password to the final level or the one with the most lives or items) onto the cartridge itself :P but used a pencil so it could be erased later.

my life away I'll try to take some pics from

Hahahah not on the labels :P, onto the grey plastic of the cartridge, and with a pencil so I could erase them later with a common eraser.

Jedi Master Baiter

How would you write the codes if the game was in the console?

133MHz

Turn the console off, remove the game and write the code on it :P. BTW, I wrote important codes/passwords onto the cartridges themselves (like for the final level for example) not the passwords for every goddamn level ;D

Jedi Master Baiter

I do. :P I like going back & beating "Break Man" before taking on the Wily stages.
