I just wanted to know on your opinions on what I'm going through. Well me and my ex were together for over a year and it ended last night. The problem with her is that she is too immature and I need someone to be more grown up about decisions. She told me that she is going to change but she said that in the past and I don't know if I should give her one more chance or just be on my own for a while. Well any opinions will help.

How old are you and how old is she?
Depending on that her being "immature" might be normal...
I'd say if you really like her she should have another chance.

JC

Well, if she's had a chance and nothing's changed, I'd end it. I have some friends who go 'round and 'round with girlfriends, broken up one day and back together the next. I tell them it depends on the seriousness of the problem. For instance, one friend has said he can't envision a future with his girlfriend (yes, together after breaking up twice) because she's devout Christian and he's atheist -- think of raising kids. That's a pretty big difference between them. Immaturity can be a big problem, too. Kinda like what manuel is saying, you should identify whether it's related to her age or if it's a family-related thing. If it's age-related, it's likely to change. If her family has some immaturity in it (mother, etc.), it's not as likely to change.

Well she is 19 but some of her immaturity is thanks to her family I don't know I already given her a couple of chances but she just doesn't show it. Thanks for your opinions.

19... that's an age where you should be mature in a way...
And if nothing didn't change after several chances, chances ( :-\) are low that there will be a change.
Well, in the end you'll have to "listen to your heart" (which is by Roxette btw... :P)

JC

She's 19, you're 22. I think you'll see some girls at that age (guys, too, I guess) feeling like they need to break out and do those immature things (believe immature things) they couldn't do/believe under their parents' supervision. If you really like her, she'll be much more mature in a couple years when real life starts to weigh in -- if you can wait that long for her to come around.

Ah...Roxette. I'm gonna have that stuck in my head. Or also Roxette..."It must have been love/But it's over now."

FamicomFreak

Yeah it's not like I'm asking her to be real real mature but yeah I think I'll give her time and see if she shows maturity of course we are going to be only friends from now on.

Good luck with that and can't wait for the updates. I've been working on mine for about a month now and it's finally looking like something I wanted as a web page lol

Well, to understand inmaturity, my girl is 19, I'm 25. She's crazyer than me, my ex have my same age and she was inmature, I think it's not about the age, depends of the person. I was living together 2 years, and other 3 of relationship with my ex and she was like a little girl all the time, with my new gf (Pam is her name) this doesn't happen.
Maybe it's going to do with raise and the family, or the point of view of a person. For me a girl who drink, take drugs and go out everyday it's a little inmature.
