I've been hiding this information for awhile, hoping that someday yhj would stop being retarded and give me the chance to bid on one of these, but now I'll just reveal my findings

The twin famicom was released originally as model number AN-500. You guys are probably all familiar with these, theres one black one with a red stripe and one red one with a black stripe, buyers could choose between their favorite color.

Then, there was AN-505. AN-505 has a few revisions, most notably the official sharp turbo controllers, and the case redesign. You are probably familiar with this too, it is black with a green/gray stripe. What I found odd about the 505 is there is seemingly no other color to choose from, until a few months ago when kris showed me an auction of a

red with beige / gray stripe

AN

505!!!!!

It went for a couple of hundred bucks, and finally the mystery was solved. There was another color, but why is it almost never for sale? why is it rarer than the other color of an 505? why can't I get one? we may never know.

NOTE: I lost the link to the auction when I upgraded to vista. When kris gets back on gmail after settling in ill ask if he has it then ill embed the pic for you guys. For now, just trust me, its real

Cool info. I'd love to see the link/pic for comparison purposes. I can't quite imagine the differences.

I did, especially the bottom. I was hoping by the time you read my post the pictures would've been available. :(

I want to see the pics, but I see some Twin modded in the past as Famicom modded as well. (Like a Green-white Famicom).

Today I was looking at pics of Twin Famicoms on the net, and a question came to my head; do you actually need the RAM cartridge so you can play the disk system games on this, or is it all bulit in? If it is built in, does this mean that you can't put a famicom cartridge and famicom disk system game at the same time? Because which game will the console start playing if two games are in the console? ???

kite200

no ram cart needed and no you cant put both in at the same time theres a lock

I know somebody who is offering me a CIB Famicom Twin with about ten games.
Can somebody post pics of the Twin, and tell me a bit about it?

A couple questions:

Does it play Famicom games and Disk games?
Do all the accesories work with it?
Is it a knock off?
Mario has a mustache therefore, he is a man.
Luigi has a somewhat smaller mustache, he is less of a man.
I have a bigger mustache than both of them.

Plays both. Accessories work. It's made by Sharp.

kite200

it's 100% official.

That doesn't look legit. You sure it is? I only say that because it's kinda ugly.
