Good point. I never realized that I've never seen pirated FDS's. Must have been too tough to make, since there shouldn't be any doubt that the piraters would have built them to go along with their pirated disks. Would make a nice bundle.

Are there any famiclone disk systems? Don't think I've ever run across one....perhaps we could start up a business if 133mhz can figure out how to make them

turbo twin or twin fami which do you prefer. +'s and -'s? even color combos.

Turbo Twin is much better

It's exactly the same hardware as a regular Twin, but with longer cords, turbo switches, and a better color scheme! (IMO)

I'd rather just have a Famicom and a FDS, unless you already have one...
It'd be nice to own all 3..
But if you had to choose one, I'd just get an original setup (Famicom and FDS)

yeah, I agree with nintendodork, the Turbo Twin is the obvious choice, but the original Nintendo variety is the best (in my opinion)

I wouldn't say those are great deals. Rising Stuff has a AN-500B for $99, but it would probably even out with shipping from Japan.

Considering their shipping from Japan is $60-$70, I'd say it is about even on the AN-500's.  Although mine have official AC Adaptors and include free games.

Their AN-505's are more expensive by $20-$30 after shipping.
