I don't know if a lot of Famifans are OS fans, BUT if they are, this thread is for them.

My OS: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite, with XQuartz/MacPorts/GNOME installed. Hackintosh'd with UniBeast.

EDIT: What if MSDOS4 used MS-DOS 4.0? ooo spooky

P

Windows 7 dual-booting with Debian Linux without a graphical interface to save space. I have another computer that I run Windows XP on for compatibility reasons.

Windows 7 Home 64 bit here. I was using Linux Mint Debian, but I haven't needed Linux in a while, so it's temporarily just Windows for now.

I do have an old laptop with XP on it for 90s PC games.

Win 8.1 + Arch Linux, Debian Linux and Windows NT4 as virtual machines for work and projects.

Win 8.1 at work, mainly, but also Linux and lots of local VMs.  Win 8.1 at home desktop.

My home laptop is currently running Arch Linux with MATE desktop.  I am re-living the Gnome2+Compiz glory days and loving it ;D

Windows XP is my main workhorse, but I also use Windows 2000, 98SE and Mac OS 9 for other purposes.

I've been on Ubuntu for several years now. I'm currently on an obsolete version, though, and I've been too lazy to update it.

A version from before the Unity interface?

NikuSama

windows 7 64 bit since it was free through the school while I was taking college classes.

my wifes computer was using 8.1 until a failed bios update, MSI is admitting a flaw to their update process so its getting fixed

I don't know, Joe. But apparently what I'm on now is 13.04.

Yeah, that definitely has Unity (the launcher on the left side of the screen and everything that comes along with it).  Early versions of it were slow and pretty underdeveloped, so I didn't want to use it.  It really drove me away from Ubuntu.  I hear it's a lot better now, but I'm plenty productive with my Mate+Compiz setup.

If I end up keeping an Intel MacBook, add Mac OS X 10.6.8 to my list. Otherwise if I ever need OS X, usually I can get away with the PowerPC version of OS X 10.4.11 instead.

FAMICOM_87
