Does anyone know if there are any marvelous multicarts for Super Famicom like the Coolboy 400 in 1 is for Famicom?

I've only ever seen 5 in 1s and 7 in 1s before. Snes games are quite a bit bigger than nes games and as such you just can't fit as much. A flash cart would probably be what you're looking for. You can get them off aliexpress for like $70.

Yes, but those carts do not have DSP1, DSP2 or other enhancer chips inside.

And neither would a multicart I'd imagine.

SD2SNES seems to have excellent DSP1/2 support as well as several other co-processors.

SD2SNES has the SNES CD support which is the main draw for me.  The MSU-01 or whatever it's referred to as.

SNES-CD?

All I can find about that is the unreleased sony nintendo console and Phillips CD add on. What exactly is this SNES-CD you're talking about? I feel uninformed haha.

The MSU-1 is a co-processor that never existed in any retail game. That's because it was invented by bsnes/higan author Byuu. His emulator bsnes (now higan) is the only emulator that emulates it so far, and SD2SNES is the only flashcart that replicates it.

MSU-1 basically allows you to make games that have video and CD-quality sound, so it's the closest to the never released CD add-on as we get (better than Voicer-kun). There are some homebrew that uses it, like a port of the arcade game Road Blaster (one of those interactive movie games that some people hated), and a Super Mario World hack. I think also someone was working on replacing all music tracks in Zelda 3 to fully orchestrated ones.

These games would be utterly impossible on a SFC/SNES without this powerfull co-processor (or a CD add-on).

Thanks for the info. I had no idea. Really cool.
