IQ-1000 or IQ-1000k ?

I'm going to buy famiclone IQ-1000. I have heard that this is a good and solid console although it is not cheap. What do you think about this console? I found also another model IQ-1000k. What is the difference between them. Thanks for the advice!

Do you mean the one from Micro Genius?  To be honest, I wouldn't pay more than $20 for the console.  I used to find a lot of those machines and often had troubles getting them to run, so often they were just dead or didn't work properly.  Not recommended.

I saw one recently (with a price tag of 10€) and I am pretty impressed from what is inside, looks like a  sturdy hardware clone to me. Have to get it home for testing.

That page fails to mention that there was also an IQ-2000 model, iirc.  I own two of them.

Do you mean the one from Micro Genius?  To be honest, I wouldn't pay more than $20 for the console.  I used to find a lot of those machines and often had troubles getting them to run, so often they were just dead or didn't work properly.  Not recommended.

What famiclone is the best in your opinion? I don't want buy original Famicom.

what are you talking about? I can barely remember a cart that couldn't run on real Famicom.
Otherwise, almost every famiclone had problems with one or another game.
I would rather pay attention to overall quality of hardware than compatibility - it's almost equal

A lot of the newer Famiclone games distributed in Poland, Bulgaria and places like that won't run in a real machine (at least not on my Twin Famicom).  Likewise, some of the Nanjing / Waixing original games also won't run.

I was trying to confirm this last night, but had some problems with finding one of these games on demand, but with some of the older (better quality) clones, I would suspect that maybe they also will not run such games properly, since they were (to my understanding) just copied versions of the real thing.  I need to check into this more though, since I am not a tech guy.

I think they all have their faults, personally.  I don't like the poorer sound quality of the NOAC clones, but others like many of the old Micro Genius clones, while of seemingly better quality, I have bought so many that have been finicky / dead on arrival, it isn't even funny.  I would just grab something cheap if you want a machine to run the occasional game that doesn't play on real hardware.  The number of (good) games you are missing out on due to compatibility issues  is quite low, I think.

And let's not forget about slower speed that most half-PAL/half-NTSC famiclones have
