Long story short I normally stay away from Repos and Translated cartridges.  I just feel weird in buying an "unofficial" cartridge.  Yep, and this is the Famicom where the Famiclones are a whole world that I don't want to step into.

However I was always curious in playing Lagrange Point in English on my AV Famicom with the VRC7.  I think there were cartridges where the ROM was swapped with a English translated ROM.  To be honest I have no idea.

So, for one does this even exist?  Don't bite me on this since I don't follow any Translated cartridges news at all.

Yeah you can replace the PROM inside the cartridge with an english translated EPROM.
It's not too technical. You could easily have someone do it for you. The chip is a drop-in replacement.

The fan translated ROM is out there and its pretty damn good. Either program a 27C040 and replace the Mask ROM (no rewiring needed) or have someone here do one for you. I have some spare chips but postage to Australia would be an absolute killer.

Good to hear about the ROM replacement.  I might need to pick up a copy and have someone do the work for me, or be lucky and wait for someone to sell a copy with the English ROM.  *Me need to stop being lazy*
