I bought a boxed Square button Famicom in very good shape for £125 about 4 years ago, however, it has had a motherboard switch which probably halves the value.
Loose consoles aren't super difficult to find as such, but nice examples are.  Especially when you look at the controllers, the main attraction.

To find a really nice condition boxed and complete console would be an awesome find and I imagine it would go for at least 500 bucks, given you'd likely not see another.

A loose one even in nice condition I think would go for less than half that, but at the end of the day do base your own value appraisal on it and decide what you'd personally buy or let it go for.  

That's always the most trustworthy price guide in my book.

Gosh, I don't know. I suspect you may be able to sell it for that, especially if that's the cheapest BIN on the 'Bay the next time an impatient person logs on looking for one. But it seems to me that game starts pretty reliably around $10 shipped.

Rockman $40ish shipped on several BINs; I did search for "Rockman 1; may go for cheaper without the 1, but I'm too lazy to weed through all the false hits that a simple "Rockman" search would bring up)

The first Rockman's BINs I saw were about the same price, but like I said, you can probably find them going for less if you look a little harder.

I think that's a very fair price. I got rockman X 1,2, and 3 also rockman 7 in an auction for 90 bucks like 2 years ago was very happy with it I think it might have been the same seller.

I'm thinking I am getting close to the time when I have the money to buy a copy of Gimmick! I want just want the cart alone since I think the box & instructions aren't worth the additional amount of money they command. What should I be looking to pay? The eBay BINs are insane and I haven't stumbled across one for sale on any of the Japanese game sites I buy from, so I'm not sure what more natural prices are. The last auction on eBay went for like $185. Is that high or about right?
