Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster :) Cleaning up around the house and came across a few Famicom carts and am hoping someone can shed some light on values. I no longer have a Famicom system, so...
1 - Caltron 6 in 1 (CN-11)
2 - Magic Block (CN-03)
3 - Super 18 in 1
4 - 6 in 1 Super

I've attached  a pic for reference. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Magic Block and Caltron 6 in 1 are the two gems out of the bunch.  Although the NES version is more expensive, the Famicom Caltron is much, much harder to find.

For values, I personally would value them at $80 - $100 each, but you will be hard pressed to find someone willing to pay that much.  The games are rare, but the demand just isn't there...yet.

How much is a CIB Solbrain going for these days?  I have one (CIB), but if the price point is worth it (and I can find someone on here willing to make a nice offer), I might downgrade to cart only on it.

I got mine for $100, but that was a while ago. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes for a bit more nowadays though. PM coming at you shortly, by the way.

I recently got this strategy guide with my disk copy of Metroid, any idea what it's worth?

I paid my Soulbrain JPY10000... 2 years ago (it was a bit expensive but not anymore now)...

It appears that this game is more and more demanded (similarly to Kage or Captain Saver) seeing that some videogameshops having a ebay account added more copies (probably due to collector videogames wanted lists which mention more often this game.
I cannot blame them as this is one of my favorite game (especially the fact that you can combine three symbols combination to get various weapons).

Prices on Ebay appear (at first look) to be insane... but if I haven't had it, I guess I could put something around US$150 for a CIB version...

Yeah, if I didn't already have Solbrain I'd be willing to pay around $200-$250 for it CIB. Or even more. Favorite game of all time and all, y'know.

What's the going price on Lickle these days? I've seen it all over the place, some under 100$ which were probably repros, and others that are usually closer to 300$, or well over, but that was just on eBay usually. I wanted to buy a copy at first, but have they really gone up where they are going for that much now?

Just curious what the fair average price on that game seems to be now.

The NES Samson rarity has really driven Lickle prices to madness.  CIB is very hefty now, but you should be able to get a loose cart under $100, I paid around $80 a year ago I think for a minty.

Yeah the prices are definitely mad.
I got prices on just the cart from a couple of places and one told me about 200$ and the other said it was about 250$ for just the cart.

L___E___T

Are you sure that wasn't a NES cart?  NES goes for a lot more, so could be some confusion.  Famicom cart only shouldn't be near that.

Recent legit copies sold on eBay from $128 - $160.  Price does seem to have gone up, but $200+ seems too much.

L___E___T

Blimey, that is some crazy appreciation.  I should have bought CIB after all :)

Yeah I thought $200 was a bit much myself, and $250 to me was just crazy insane. The seller I'd emailed sells games from Japan, so I'm pretty sure it was the FC version they gave me a price for. Either way for just the cart that's crazy.  :o

StJackie

yea it`s gone up in Japan.. havent seen it under 20000 yen in quite awhile.

Speaking of crazy prices on Lickle, I saw these tonight on eBay and about fell out of my chair at the first one:

First one is just the cart, and I think that is way overboard, not sure about what the boxed versions go for now though. I know those cannot be normal prices, I checked a few other auctions and saw them i the 140-200$ range for the cart.

After seeing all the crazy prices, it may just be cheaper and economical now to try and find a decent repro of it to buy, just to have a cart to play.

Just thought I'd share those prices that I've seen tonight though.

Peter Rabbit's stock is all massively overpriced too, so even that CIB price isn't going rate by any means.
