Bootleg Famicom Full Set?

Anyone ever go after / complete something like this?  From the collection pics I've seen posted on here and elsewhere, I can imagine some of FW's Dendy / Pegasus members probably have hundreds upon hundreds (if not thousands) of bootleg versions of the games.  I wonder if anyone ever got them all though (excluding stuff like Castlevania 3, Tailor Made, etc, which were never bootlegged that I know of).

I used to always sell off my bootleg carts of licensed games, but lately have been keeping them.  After a month, I am at about 100 different titles.

I know that there are some guys who are all about the pirate carts. Given that there are some pirate exclusives, for some odd titles, it's the only way. Lol.

Me? I'm an opportunist by nature. If there is a title I like, and the piarate is easier to come by, or considerably less expensive, I grab it. My personal collection is about 50-50 or so.

It does make me wonder if three there are completionists out there for things like Sachen, or Waixing, or...was it AV Club? Interesting thought.

Yes, you are looking at someone that is trying to be a completionist for these.  ;)  There are some I am missing for both sets though.

About the pirate games, it is interesting to see another person's perspective on it.  Last weekend a contact of mine had wanted to clear out his Famicom cartridge stash, and he made me an offer I couldn't really refuse for about 200 different carts.  A lot of these were early generation titles, all bootlegs, something that doesn't hold a lot of interest to many, since the real carts are easy to obtain for a reasonable price.  But wow, the quality on those carts was excellent, so I picked out a lot for my own collection, thinking maybe I could do a side by side one day, of real cart and bootleg.

That's cool though. I've never given it a whole lot of thought...mostly because I've never done the homework on just how many exclusives each group made. Ones I know off the top of my head are: RocmanX, Link to the Past port, FF7 port, Golden Axe, Boogerman,  Kart Fighter, and AV Pretty Girl Fight. Some of those have leaked out as repro carts now too, so finding "the real deal" might be more challenging than first glance.
