If anyone has either the JY multicart or the other one which both features the full version of Mario World please get in touch as I have £500 ready in my PayPal account for anyone wishing to sell it, cheers!

As much as I can understand your urge to get it (I had the same back in the days, pretty much). Is it really appropriate to make a new topic everytime someone else asks for it?

I don't want to sound like an ass or anything but I'm not too sure the other people appreciate that.

Yeah I just wanted to make any potential sellers aware that the money is actually ready and immediate so as to not keep anyone thinking they would have to wait around for the payment, (as this wasn't put in my post previously) also I've been advertising wanting to buy this game every month for the last 6 months or so - also I want to raise my chances of acquiring the cartridge as no one seems to have it for any price, £500 ($619) is the most I can offer for it and I think it's a fair offer, if I was rich would offer £1,000 for it but unfortunately I'm far from rich ☹️

Well... MAYBE you can try with a repro cartridge (With the "uncomplete?" version of the game) , it's MMC4 , wich is rare itself , only 3 games had that mapper : Famicom Wars , Fire Emblem Gaiden  and Fire Emblem: Ankokuryuu to Hikari no Ken , also the "uncomplete?" ROM is 512kb[PRG] and 256kb[CHR] , but I THINK that should work with the proper wiring , wich is the same as for a MMC3 (As far I know) , Also , if you want , when I get more experiencie from Fami repros , I can try to make the "uncomplete?" version of the game.

Thanks very much mate but I already have that version, I really need the multi-cart which features the full version but if anyone knows how's to put a repro-cart together of the 45 in 1 then I would be very keen to purchase it, obviously not for £500 but still willing to pay £100 for the repro of it.

MasterDisk

No, both incomplete and complete version works on non-standard mapper. It is possible to repro it but someone has to go ahead and make it real. Powerpak and Everdrive play the game (both versions on separate ROM files) fine by the way.

Well... Each game uses a different mapper , as I said before , Mario World uses MMC4 , and as example , Tetris (Tengen) uses iNes Mapper 3 , Super Mario uses iNes Mapper 0 , so it's NROM , Twin Bee uses iNes Mapper 87!!!!! , what is that?? , well... I think that is a mapper made by Konami , for Konami only , so the game haves a lot of games with different mappers.

But new NES boards exists , so , if someone buys all the aviable New boards and try every board , at least to make work Mario World , should be great , because that boards (Only NES) , but HEY!! 72 to 60 pins converters are available!! and that boards don't needs wiring , so you can put the [PRG] and the [CHR] , a MMC4 and try it.

Man - if anyone was gonna put this together like you say, and it was successful - I could probably gaurantee the dude behind putting these boards together would more than likely be able to make a living selling these carts online, especially if it was in its original multi-cart format, and the cartridge and sticker looked just like the original thing - sort of adds a bit of extra nostalgia magic to the whole thing, and would definitely generate worldwide interest in my opinion.  (Even if the game is a bit laughable and sucks somewhat, it's a piece of weird never should have been 8-bit Nintendo history that even Nintendo can't dismiss),

still willing to pay £100 for the repro of it.

don't waste the precious time.

for that money, you'd probably end up with getting slightly adjusted powerpak/everdrive under the hood. just containing 1 game you wished.

betamaxizhuge

Haha obviously I would make sure it wasn't an everdrive mod, I could have done that myself if I wanted to, I have an everdrive on my Sega which contains every single game ever produced for the machine, only problem is it feels and seems different as to playing the original thing complete with real micro-chips and all, almost like a demo or something, the magic is definitely missing using everdrive / powerpack units instead of the original or even repro cart
