Bootleg "Hu" Carts

I have a whole collection of these Famiclone cartridges. They all have some sort of variant "Hu" label on them, and the game on each cartridge is different. These are early Famiclone cartridges from Taiwan. Are they actually endorsed in any way by Hudson Soft? Well the answer might surprise you, but quite possibly. These two are duplicates from my collection.

Hokuto no Ken (green cart) - $10
Castle of Excellence (yellow cart) - $5*

*Castle of Excellence loads up, but with garbled graphics. I think it could work properly if cleaned well, but as it's a duplicate, I honestly can't be bothered with that, maybe someone else can.

Bootlegs with Custom labels - $40

Ten cartridges, none of them had their labels on them when I received these, so I made my own labels. Each label somehow represents the game inside.

Selling these as a set, $40 takes all. There's a nice variety of games in this set.

Loose PCBs Pack - $25

14 different PCBs. A few of these don't work, most of these do. All are either bootlegs, multicarts, or unlicensed originals.

Zoids - $25

This is a bootleg Famicom game, comes with an instruction manual and a box. The manual is in Chinese, and the boxes were meant to mimic the Namcot clamshell boxes.

Little Master (A) (bootleg) - $50

This bootleg of Little Master has an instruction manual that has been translated into Chinese. The game itself is in the original Japanese. This set includes the game, box, and instruction manual.

Little Master (B) (bootleg) - $50

This bootleg of Little Master has an instruction manual that has been translated into Chinese. The game itself is in the original Japanese. This set includes the game, box, and instruction manual.

Famicom Disk System:

Professional Mahjong Goku - $5

Somehow I ended up with a duplicate of this game, and I don't need it! Sold as is, presumably it is working but FDS machines are finicky, and I can't be bothered to test it.

FDS3  Famicom Mukashi Banashi Shin Onigashima Kouhen (untested) - $3

Indie Games / Homebrews / Obscurities:

Peave, Love, Trippy Club - $50

This is a brand-new indie game for the Famicom. Basically you're stuck in a hellish trippy club and need to escape. The stages get weirder and weirder as you go along. Initially you're in flashing lights, but then the club suddenly turns into a beach party where you're fighting dick canons and birds, in the sand. You even end up travelling into hell, all the while girls make suggestive passes at you. You're even collecting Mary Jane in one of the later stages.

Dragon Boat Festival - $30

Brand new (three-stage) game designed for the Dragon Boat Festival back in June. Extremely limited quantities were made, and I've got a few extra to sell on here. This won't ever be available again, as it was designed to commemorate a holiday.

Hungry Ghost Night

This is the latest game from ITG-Soft, released back in September last year. Unbeknownst to many, there are actually two versions of this game. Although the gameplay in each game is similar, each version of the game has a different main protagonist, and each version has different stages.

Hungry Ghost Night (Wang Version) - $65

Hungry Ghost Night (Gasse Version) - $65

Machines:

Famicom Mini 400 in 1 - $5

I've got no hookups for this one. It's a bootleg Famicom Mini, should contain 400 games built in.

Tiger Boy - $25

image1

This is a NOAC Famiclone, made in Thailand. As can be seen, the machine uses the same mold as the Sega Mega Drive 2. All tests normal function.

Dancing TV Game - $20

image10

This is a Famiclone, has a dancing game built into it, and it can also run Famicom cartridges.

Other:

PCB Pack - $20 (SOLD)

Contains over 20 Famicom PCBs. A lot of these are official, others are Taiwanese-made. IIRC, the majority of these work, though there might be a few duds in the mix. I can't be bothered trying to sell these one by one, or to do anything with them, maybe someone else has a use for them :)

Sega Mega Drive (Genesis):

Unlicensed Originals:

Lion King 2 - $20 (SOLD)

Lion King 2 is an unlicensed original game for the Sega Mega Drive. Comes with the box and cartridge.

Poker 6 in 1 - $55 OBO

This one's one of two Sega games released by Sachen. It is a collection of card games. There are a lot of women dealers on the box. Does the game contain nudity? Honestly, I don't know, as I'm not a card player, maybe you can find out!

Power Rangers - $20

Unlicensed original game based on the Power Rangers franchise.

Soul Blade - $25

This is an unlicensed original for the Sega Mega Drive. The game was bought new old stock from a local shop.

Virtua Fighter 2 - $25

Unlicensed original game. Comes with the box and cartridge.

Multicarts:

Super Sports 10 in 1 - $10

Nice, old Sega multicart, not really sure how the Dragon Ball Z game is a sports game, but whatever...

Translations:

Ambition of Caesar - $40

This is a licensed game, which was officially translated into Chinese for the Hong Kong / Taiwan market. No idea why they chose Caesar, but whatever.

Unknown Title (The "Hitler Game") - $25

I forget the title of this one, though Hitler is featured on the front. It's originally a Japanese WWII strategy game, though it has been translated into Chinese.

Unknown Title - $25

I forget the name of this one as well, but it's another Japanese game, which has been translated into Chinese unofficially for the Hong Kong / Taiwan / China market.

Conversions:

Volleyball - $50 OBO

This is a very special game cartridge. It contains the Sega Master System Volleyball game, although it is a conversion to a Sega Mega Drive cartridge. Contains the box and game cartridge, and is quite hard to find.

Bootlegs:

World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse - $12

This is a bootleg of the *Asian* version of World of Illusion. Sort of interesting as an oddity for those that are collecting the Asian Sega games.

Sega Mega Drive: Bootlegs

As you can see, some of these have box spines or manuals translated into Chinese for the local market. $12 each, or take all five for $50 + shipping.

Yochi - $12

Gaiares - $12

Shadow Dancer - $12

Phantasy Star 3 - $12

Curse - $12

Licensed Games:

Phantasy Star - $15

NBA Jam - $15

Loose Cartridges:

Three Kingdoms - $30

Official Chinese translation of Three Kingdoms for the Taiwan / Hong Kong market.

Volleyball - $25

Bootleg conversion of the Sega Master System game Volleyball for the Sega Mega Drive.

Action 52 - $25

Taiwanese bootleg of the notorious Action 52 game!

Gunfight 3 in 1 - $30

This is a rare, unlicensed original Sega Mega Drive game.

Unknown Title - $5

I forget the name of this one, but it's a bootleg of a Japanese game.

Sports 3 in 1 - $8

Sega Multicart containing three sports games.

Sega Game Gear:

7 in 1 - $30

7 in 1 is a bootleg Game Gear game made by the Taiwanese company HTH. This multicart contains seven different Sega Master System games, yet they all have been converted to run on this Game Gear cartridge. The package contains the box, manual, and game cartridge, and was bought new old stock from a local shop.

Choplifter - $25

This is one of the bootleg HTH Sega Master System to Sega Game Gear conversions. This one is Choplifter. Comes with the box and game cartridge.

(HTH) 4 in 1 - $25 each

I have three of these up for grabs, once they're gone, they're gone, with no way of getting more.

HTH was a Taiwanese company that focused on "porting" Sega Master System games to Game Gear format. They released probably around 50 conversions.

This multicart features four Sega Master System games, Hang-On, Astro Flash, Great Baseball, and Pit Pot.

Loose Cartridges (HTH) - $15 each

These games are all made by HTH, and are conversions for Game Gear of Sega Master System games. Each cartridge is $15.

Licensed Sega Game Gear games:

Yuu Yuu Fighter 2 - $8

Sonic 2 - $5

Rayearth - $10 (SOLD)

Magical Puzzle Popils - $100 OBO

This one is sunfaded on the front, the rest of the game looks mint though. No idea what to price this at, there are a few non-sunfaded copies sitting on ebay with BINs of $145 and $200, with loose carts selling for just under $30.

So let's start this at $100, but feel free to make an offer if you like, I might just accept it :)

Sailor Moon - $25 OBO

Official cartridge of Sailor Moon.

Bubble Bobble - $7

This one is a bootleg of Bubble Bobble.

Bootlegs:

Tails - $5

Yaiba - $5

Super Famicom / Super Nintendo:

der Langrisser - $25

Bootleg version of the game der Langrisser. Includes the box, manual, and instructions.

NBA Hang Time - $20

Bootleg game of NBA Hang Time. NBA Hangtime was only released in the west, making this one sort of interesting and collectable, since it is the western exclusive game inside a Japanese game shell, intended for an Eastern market.

Rushing Beat - $35

This is an official Japanese Rushing Beat game. This includes the game cartridge, box, and manual.

Smash TV - $35

This is the official Japanese version of Smash TV for the Super Famicom. The game is missing the manual, but has the box and cartridge. The sticker on the cartridge and box show that it was officially imported into Taiwan from Japan, and is an authentic product.

Super Punch Out!! - $30 (SOLD)

This one's fun for collectors, it's a bootleg version of Super Punch Out!! This one comes with the box, manual, and cartridge. It's really funny seeing that this game was produced by "Super Game".
