For those of you who don't want to watch a video and just get to the point instead, I bought GIMMICK. At a Mandarake in Sapporo,
it was 19000 Yen, 20520 after tax, a little less than 200 US Dollars, but still lower than what I usually see it for, which is 30-35000.
The lower price was due to "big damage" but that's according to the picky Mandarake, there weren't really any damage to speak of,
keeping in mind that I'm just a gamer, I'm not looking for mint condition or to apply for that VGA bullshit.
Even though there are still games out there I want to buy, now it pretty much feels like I'm done, what's gonna top this?

Nice. It's a good game but I prefer Pipe V due to many continues ahaha. Of course not the same with original Sunsoft but yeah, congratulations for a nice find. 

Mandrake in Sapporo usually has very nice prices. I bought more than 20 Sega Mark III games there I think two years ago because they just arrived and was not tested so I just asked how much they would take for all and it became around 500 yen for each game haha. I kept the ones I wanted and sold the rest on YAJ.

Oh congratulations! I should check out Mandarake in Sapporo (though I don't have most of my game systems with me to Japan). You were lucky! Isn't that "BIG DAMAGE" just normal ageing of the label that proves it's genuine?

Translating the manual and reading the story behind the making made me really want to play this game. Gotta get it sometime, even if it's just a repro (with a proper sound chip).

I've noticed that at Mandarake too (never been to the Sapporro one but have bought from the ones in Fukuoka, Nagoya and Osaka before).  They put those "big damage" labels on carts and boxes with reduced prices even though sometimes the damage is so minor it is barely noticeable.  I've gotten some good deals that way in the past!
