The Plants Vs. Zombies Franchise

It seems this awesome franchise doesn't get any love here so I'll post this:

Have you played any game on the Plants Vs. Zombies Franchise? If so, what are your thoughts on them?
I personally love the IP (haven't keep up with the latest games though), it's so fun to plan some strategies for beating those zombies, and considering I don't really like tower-defense games that much I find amazing how I keep coming to play those.

It's also probably one of the most important game franchises when it comes to regional differences, lots of Chinese-exclusive games! If you like region exclusive content you definitely have to check out the franchise.
