TwinFamicom not reading disks

I have a working OG Famicom and FDS system that works great.  I now have a TwinFamicom that won't read disks.  The weird part is it won't read disks from the known working FDS connected to port C or from the known working FDS via the FDS's RAM Adapter.  At first I thought it might be bad floppy controller in the TwinFamicom, but the fact it won't load disks via the RAM adapter kind of rules that out.  The system seems to play cartridges fine, so I am struggling to figure out what could be the problem.  Also the TwinFamicom will not load from an FDSStick either.  Any ideas?

Thanks.

Nothing.  It appears to load forever.

Does the drive actually spin, though, or is it just saying it's loading and doesn't do anything?

Also, this happens for both the internal drive and the external one?

Drive is spinning, both internal and external.

That is extremely bizzare.
I've seen that happen with faulty drives, but you say it works on a regular Famicom...
Kind of sounds like two separate issues, possibly.

What is your Twin Famicom's power adapter's voltage/current rating?
Maybe the current is too low to power the extra circuitry in the FDS adapter?

Turns out there is all sorts of stuff wrong with the machine. It appears the CPU is busted in some fashion, so not loadings disks is a minor problem at the moment, lol.

I've had similar problems, though I originally just assumed it was because of faulty disks. Now that I think about it, they were actually pretty well-preserved.
How do I write a signature again?
