Hello folks! I've been lurking this site for the past week or so trying to learn what I can about the Famicom and its myriad wonders, and I figured it was about time I registered and started to participate. I don't currently have a Famicom (or even an NES), but I've been playing a few ROMs here and there to see what interests me. It may be a while until I can afford to dive into the FC the way I'd like to since I'm unemployed and sick at the moment, but I eagerly await being able to check out the games I've been trying on real hardware.

I've only gotten interested in retro gaming specifically in the past year or so, although I've always liked video games and some of my earliest memories with them are with 8-bit systems. Anyway, I hope I can contribute to the community, or at least buy some neat stuff from you guys!
