Welcome fredJ and fcmatsor, its great to see both of you here! I think you two are our first members from Sweden and Holland, if I am not mistaken... we get more diverse everyday!

I hope you both enjoy you stay with us and have a pleasant experience.

fredJ

There is another member from Sweden that I know from the nesdb forum. He has made 70 posts here. Maybe he is too shy to introduce himself. :)

Juji

hi im juji. i like famicoms.

NintendoKing

Welcome to Famicom World, Juji!
Its great you like Famicom, you will fit in here fine!

nyziul

Hi I'm nyziul. I recently obtained a Sharp Twin Famicom that came with a few FDS games and a cart. This is my first start at collecting Famicom games, since I only used to play NES at my friend's house and didn't have my own system until the SNES. I recently started learning Japanese and I am hoping I will eventually be able to play and understand some of the great games on the Famicom and Super Famicom.

NintendoKing

Excellent, nyziul! You basically acquired one of the best Famicoms on the market, and I find that most games have full text printable translations!

Anyways, both original Famicom and Super Famicom have a wide variety of games; so I am sure you will enjoy the hunt.

Appleidog

Hey all, just wanted to introduce myself been in to the famiclone scene for ages with the likes of having scorpion 8 funstation polystation and a few more unknown ones And just wanted to get back into the collecting

NintendoKing

I hope we can assist you, Appleidog; I know Famicom World definitely got my Famicom collecting going. I may still only have 26 cartridges in 3 years of being a member but they are all cartridges I like.

Its better to own games you actually like then a bunch of random carts.

Welcome, AMCApril; so you have been emulating?
Has that sparked an interest in owning the actual hardware now?

Hello,

My name is Craig. I just started my famicom collection a few weeks ago. I now have in my possession a sharp twin famicom in box. I purchased it off a member here on ebay. It came with 13 carts and 4 disks, and, the disk I really wanted(Super Mario Bros2) came with it. I now have The Legend of Zelda,Zelda 2,Metroid,DokiDoki Panic (all FDS), and Super Mario USA and Super Mario 3 both in box. I have always loved my nes and grew up playing it. In fact I still have the original box it came in along with power pad. This was the power set nes. I recently just replaced my 72 pin connector and cleaned all my games. I love being able to pop in a cartridge and it works on the first try.
