From http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/nes/file/570737/37387 :

QuoteThe version of FF1 on the FF1&2 cart is a cross between the Famicom and NES
versions. All of the names are the same as the first Famicom version, but the
character and monster graphics from the NES version are used. You can't skip
the story screen, the weapon and armor screens have red highlight like the
first Famicom version, and the monsters are missing from the final floor like
the NES version.

I just got a copy of FFI.II off of eBay today, and it'll be coming in soon. There are some things I'm curious about though. First of all, I know there were some bugs in the original FFI. Some places I heard these bugs were fixed, and other places said they weren't I want a straight answer on the matter, along with the knowledge of any other changes. Second, are there any translation guides for FFII? I know there are patches for if you're playing on an emulator, but a guide would be handy since I'm playing on a console. Other than those questions, you can go ahead and talk about the two games here.

Again something I didn't know.  :D

I'm sometimes tempted by this cart, but it's usually too expensive for my liking. (I like it CIB, as you all know)

I'm pretty excited, it's coming with the box and manuals! I wanna try and beat both games on the cart.

Well I have a 16 week old son.  That takes a good bit of my time, but I'll try to be more active! :P

manuel

Hey, congrats.  :)
Wait until your son starts to crawl and run around, THEN he'll take a good chunk of your time.  ;D

My son will be 1 year the day after tomorrow.  :o
