I'm assuming all of these are hacks of one sort of another. Know which games were hacked for each?

Well, first, what are all the Contra games on the 95-in-1 (this includes any hacks, as well as "pirate originals")?

Super Contra II/Contra 1993 are hacks of the original NES Contra (US, actually). Darkwing Duck 2 is a Super Contra (Japan) hack which hacks many graphics. Super Contra 3/Contra Spirits actually does seem to be a game made from the ground, up, not a hack. It's basically an attempt at creating Contra III from the SNES to the NES. There's absolutely no way it hacked another game to try to resemble Contra III that well. Super Contra 5 is a graphics hack of GI Joe Atlantis Factor. Super Contra 6 is a hack of Contra Force (just graphics). Super Contra 7/8 seem to be a slight pirate original. Though nothing's hacked from a game, it is clear that many of the resources were taken from other games (Super Contra, Contra, Shadow of the Beast, Mighty Final Fight, etc.). Super Fight I is a pretty nice hack of Super Contra 7/8. Super Contra X is definitely a pirate original (though the idea is Contra). Contra Fighter is a GI Joe graphics hack.

Does anyone have information on Kaita Contra? JC, could you please list all the Contra games on that multicart?

Heck, I expected better from Contra Fighter...too bad it's just G.I. Joe. It cool to know about all these, so I can keep an eye out for them. I wasn't aware there had been so many Contra hacks, though I've seen tons of Contra pirates.

None that are unique from those you know about. I've just seen a bunch of pirates of the licensed versions of Contra games -- or at least I think they're the licensed games. Never know for sure until you own 'em and try them out for yourself.

I'm ready to document as many Contra pirates as I can. Plus, it sure as hell is great to enjoy the "new" and modified Contra games
