Anyone know what a excellent condition CIB Recca would go for? I've been offered one and don't want to get ripped off.

Jeez, considering there was what, less than 500 made....I've seen 16-bit try and sell his for 600. I've seen it go for as high as 1000 before though, maybe it was Japan-Games? If they're offering less than 200 I'd grab it quick, but I doubt theyre offering it for less than that.

Doc

Loose it goes for about $199. CIB I wouldn't pay more than $600.

vealchop

How many were made you think? I thought maybe 500, but considering it was only at this festival it was probably more like 50.

I thought it was officially released for the Famicom by Naxat Soft at some point? But no, I have no idea how many were made.

I believe I have a pirated FC-cart with Recca: Summer Carnival '92 on it somewhere, too late to go and have a look, and I don't want to wake up my g/f sleeping in the same room. Is the game common on pirate-carts?

Doc

Never heard of it on pirate carts!

JC

Same here, and I've seen and read about a lot of pirate carts.

JC

Whoa damn! That's awesome! :D

I'm always amazed at the pirates that are out there. I bet a lot of the most sought after games can be found in pirate form. One of the pirate carts I own has the same itty-bitty board. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for that and where'd you find it?

shrimp

Think it came from a bigger lot.. But I didn't pay that much for the lot so maybe around 5 bucks for Recca.

EDIT: Swedish auction site..

So that deal I was working for the Recca fell through. The dude was asking $360 for it CIB, but then said he couldn't get it for me after all. Oh well. I'm thinking of trying to track down a cart-only instead. It'd be more affordable for my tightening pocketbook.

Doc

Yeah, atleast you get the game. It's awesome!

Cool:
