Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Grafitti

As everyone knows this game is actually a prequel to all the other splatterhouses. Well, I thought it would be fun to edit the ending shot a bit so it flowed more with the other games.

The original is at the bottom, my edit is the top one.


I based the outfits and west mansion of what it looked like in Splatterhouse 1 Arcade.

Where does "Gerfitti" come from? I've seen that in the Top 25 list as well, but isn't it "Graffiti" -- or is someone trying to accentuate dialect?

I don't know. Looking at the katakana, it should be "graffiti".

I've always seen it romanized as "Graffiti", but I can't read Japanese so I don't know for sure.

So nobody is going to comment on the photo just the word "Grafitti"; I assumed that the version of the text I saw on the list was right; thats why I made it say Gerfitti.

For anyone that wants them, I have some cheats

Stage 2 - 1055       Stage 3 - 3739        Stage 4 - 8245        Stage 5 - 4722        Stage 6 - 7397      Stage 7 - 8671

If you finish the game and wait till the credits are over, when the Namcot logo comes up, press A on Controller II to see your completion time

Hold A & B and down on Controller II, and hit reset. You'll enter a (sort of) test mode, which has a sound test, and it lets you view all the sprites in the game.   Character 25 is the princess from the hidden stage...if you select her sprite 33 times, she'll do 2 animations she doesn't normally do during the game.  If you select her sprite 33 times again, she'll do the same animation again, except this one is just a little bit different.

I can't tell what it's made out of...most likely plastic, but it looks like just cardboard or something from the picture.  And I guess they're rare too.

Actually, its unconfirmed.
Some people say that Europe had a official release of Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Grafitti, but with the title Splatterhouse: Super Deformed.

If it is a pirate, its a great one.
