What? Did you use an industrial soldering tool or something? My cheapo soldering iron uses around 20 Watts, which is almost next to nothing compared with other appliances. I sometimes forget about it and it stays plugged in for days on end and it's hardly noticeable.

OTOH my video projector uses a 250W lamp and that's going to impact my electricity bill sooner or later

I have woodworking skills and tools.  But plastic containers are cheaper, lighter, easier to install things in, and they come with a lid and handles already.  I guess maybe it wasn't my iron that made the electrical bill go high then.  Must have been one of my other roommates or maybe the heating system of the house.

They are both famicom, but the Splatterhouse cart is just larger than a typical famicom cart (I had mentioned them both in my initial post, so I figured I'd post the photos here too if anyone was interested--I actually didn't know I was getting the stickers and other cards, so that was a surprise).  The other cart is Castlevnia 3 if there was any question on that (and the music is even better than I thought [the youtube videos of the famicom CV3 music is NOT a good representation of hearing the real thing]).

toneman the sfc box looks so darn sexy in real life.  Too bad it looks terrible in pictures.  Also I love dracula x, I play my copy all the time.  really fun game you got there.

Dracula X definitely is a classic. Y'know alot of people say that the Dracula on Super NES is a port of the original Dracula X Rondo of the Blood on the PC Engine/Turbografx CD.

It's NOT a "port" or a "version". That's just a result of Konami of America's localization practices

yeah it's definitely not a port.  completely different game with the same name.  and I prefer the pc engine one.  Still the snes one is awesome in its own respect.  Snes one is my second favourite castlevania game of all time.  Another great sfc game to get your hands on would be terranigma.  Especially the english version of it, so hard to find

Either buy an adapter (like above post said)............or easier is just to disable the region protection (you need to  open the sfc to do this)

when i get my camera i can take some pictures
