How long will Microsoft support XP ?

With Vista being out for quite some time now.... how long do you think Microsoft will continue to support Windows XP ?

I think they're almost done developing a new OS, at least I read that a while back. So, I think they'll find a happy medium between XP's goodness and Vista's crappiness.

I thought I had read something about XP about to go EOL. Which is somewhat nuts, considering the whole netbook revolution means new XP licenses are still being sold.
