Is there a good way to do it? The only thing I've heard of is: http://www.livestation.com/ -- but I haven't looked too hard.

133MHz

TV capture card (either PCI or USB), antenna or cable feed.

Well, I'm looking for a way to watch it without having to actually pay for cable/satellite, which is what the service above seems to do, at least for a select few channels, like the BBC.

There's always Hulu.

Also, you could get a USB TV tuner (as 133mhz suggested) and use it to watch ATSC channels over-the-air for free (ie, local channels and the big networks in HD for free).  It varies from location to location and the quality of your antenna, but it's definitely free.

Trium Shockwave

How TV Comes to Trium Shockwave

Japanese broadcast -> Some Japanese dude with a DVR -> WinNY -> Fansub group -> BitTorrent -> Trium's OS X Server -> Media center Mac with MPlayer and VLC -> TV

Later...
License announced -> Preorder -> Curse about prices -> Consider not buying DVDs anymore -> Order it anyway because of guilt -> DVD arrives -> Place directly onto shelf

And some people just turn the TV on and select the right channel. What're they thinking?

My friend has all of the channels he has on cable, but on his computer...I forgot what the service is called...I could have sworn the name had something to do with "Sky" but, I can't exactly remember...I'll ask him and get back to you.
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat

Can I plug in my famicom in a pc with some kind of thing? My TV is region free:P Well, I think thats a really dumb questionXD

133MHz

Yup, get the cheapest PCI or USB TV capture card you can find. Mine was like $30 a couple of years ago and it can decode every color system ever made, also it can tune into NTSC-J channels.
