On Sunday night my girlfriend and i were jumped. The guy pulled a knife on me and demanded my belongings.

He made aay with

about $4 in change
a 6 pack of MGD
my hoodie
and some other things.

He told me straight up that he was going to cut me deep and asked if I wanted to die.

neither my girlfriend, nor I were injured.

Wait...don't you live in Canada, MaxXimus? I though that was the safest place in the world.

I got an argumentative phone call from my state representative yesterday. He didn't like something I said about him.

MaxXimus

Eh. We are tollerant of others' race/religion/etc. That is where the safety stops. Infact, the city I live in, Winnipeg, is the 3rd most dangerous city in the top ten most dangerous cities in canada.

1.Regina (Saskatchewan)
2.Saskatoon (Saskatchewan)
3.Winnipeg (Manitoba)
4.Prince George (British Columbia)
5.Edmonton (Alberta)
6.New Westminster (British Columbia)
7.Chilliwack (British Columbia)
8.Victoria (British Columbia)
9.Vancouver (British Columbia)
10.Halifax (Nova Scotia)

Earlier that Sunday that i was jumped, someone was beaten and stabbed in the building across the street where I got jumped.

I think I heard strange noises in my house last night.

The scariest thing ever is... playing the ATARI 2600 on 1:00 AM or Metroid... In metroid, when you get in the room where you can go to the next stage you hear that music like Tuuuuu duuuu Duuuuu duuuuu tu duuuu du duuuuuuuu the opening was scary too

Wow, MaxX, that sucks.
I also thought Canada was relatively safe.

The scariest thing that happened to me last year was a big spider 1 foot away from me while I was on the potty. I aged 10 years in 1 second there.  :o  :'(

Well compared to other places in the world, e are pretty good. There are just some bad apples who keep our crime rate up.

I watched a Tim Allen Christmas movie.

THE HORROR

OMG which one? ::) I am lucky to only have seen the first The Santa Clause, but I'm curious to see Christmas with the Cranks... :(

What'd you say? :P

Nothing scary or bad really happened today.  I ate a dog cookie just to see if it was any different... I'm still waiting on the results.

He's been bought by a billion-dollar commercial and residential developer from California. Politicians will do anything for campaign donations these days.

Truth?  I DID see a Tim Allen Christmas movie, but not recently.  It was the Santa Clause 3.  You know, with Jack Frost?  I saw it twice.  Once at my dad's, another in Chorus in 7th or 8th grade.

I thought all of them were awful. Then again for some reason I just hate Tim Allen. ::)

OK, let's get back on topic.

My mom got sick a few days ago.  Now, hearing news of swine flu, I was worried it was that.

Fortunately, it wasn't.  It was an ordinary fever.
