Fire Emblem; Seisen No Keifu... I LOVE THE BOX-ART SO MUCH!!

(Except the guy on the front looks like a girl O_o)

Lagrange Point, just for that uber-sophisticated for 8 bit VRC7

Donkey Kong - because it's the beginning of all.

For the Famicom, probably Hanjuku Hero.  One of my room mates and I attempted to make a translation hack for it in college.  Worked on it off-and-on for about 2 years.  We eventually learned that the game has so many puns that it's practically untranslatable :D

Still, it's a fun little game and, since I spent so much time hacking it, I'll probably never forget it.

Hmm,

I would say either my new and unused Zelda game and watch or my new and unused block kuzushi (first badged Nintendo console).

In terms of actual famicom carts - I would be tempted to say my new and unused Hogan's alley.  It's my favourite [FF] game and one of the first Nintendo official games, I never thought I'd find it factory fresh either.

Add to that it's an arcade port and that ticks all the boxes for me :)

I'm probably most proud of my copy of Moonwalker.
Sure, Radiant Silvergun is impressive to people who know what it is, but anyone who sees Moonwalker goes "No way! You have that?!"

thanks guys for posting in my thread! Keep it coming.  ;)

The diversity of games on the famicom is so cool, it lets everyone's favorite game feel so unique!  8)

And famicomfreak.... HAHA i saw the mario hack thread and all of your comments made it so hilarious.  ;D

Glad you finally got super bros 8 !

Thanks I remember when I got it I beat it and saw the kewl ending! Then I beat it another 30 times har har har...I haven't played it in months though but that's only because my famicom is put away but I'll get it out sometime.

Ginga Denshou Galaxy Quest for the FDS b/c it's in mint condition with the cassette still factory sealed.

Majin Eiyuuden Wataru Gaiden for the Famicom because it's my favorite game so far and no one else talks about it but me. It's a great action-RPG for anyone that doesn't know any Japanese.

But out of all my games it would probably be the Square Millennium Collection titles for the Playstation, in particular SaGa Frontier II. I don't really care for the game itself but the packaging is just beautiful with the little tea set and the t-shirt. Just awesome.

Kekkyoku Nankyoku Daiboken (Antartic Adventure) is the game I am proudest of finding.

It was my wife's favorite game when she was a kid and I spent months scouring all the used game shops in town for it without any luck.  Then after I had given up hope of ever finding it I happened to walk into this one store called "007" that I visit once or twice a month and there it was right on the rack.  Best 500 yen I've ever spent.

Strangely enough I understand that this isn't a particularly rare game but other than the copy I got I have never seen it for sale at any of the shops in Fukuoka (and believe me I check these places all the time).  Must not have been a big seller here in its day!

Wow.

Uh.... My most prized game would probably be...

SD Gundam Gachapon Senshi 2: Capsule Senki

I played this on an emulator SO MUCH before I had my Famicom and absolutely loved it; it was awesome to be able to really play it on the system.

It's supposed to be the one game you are really proud of but that'll work. It's a nice list either way.
