What is a good TV to play these classics on?

Hey, I've decided I'll need a retro TV to play my retro games. Problem is, I'm having a hard time finding one online. I've found this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/RCA-E13202WT-13-inch-TV_W0QQitemZ160357739893QQcmdZViewItemQQptZTelevisions?hash=item255610ed75&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14#ht_500wt_1182

But I'm looking for something like this:

Does anybody know what I should actually type into ebay? I tried RCA 13" and all that, but I didn't get any results.

I also kinda want it to fit on my shelf like so: (It'll need to be a small model)

I'd rather buy it online than go garage sale hunting.

Thanks in advance.

just try searching old tvs, specifically 70's-80's
Now you're playing with Power

Dunno if you're old enough to drive, but if you drive around on trash pickup days you'll probably be able to find an old-looking TV like that.  Might want to check a Goodwill or other thrift store, as well, if there are any near you.

I saw that one (love the orange scheme), but I'm going to need a color television. Thanks though, I guess I'll go check my local good will.

Sorry to tell you, but the best place is to go to a garage sale. I have a nice 12 inch RCA from one. Perfect condition. I believe its an '83 model

Garage sales near you might be good. Buying online means high transportation costs. Postage might be higher than the item price.  :)

I thought about a C64 monitor but I'm not sure if they have built in sound.

I hear those monitors are fantastic for NES and other retro items because of the sharp colorful picture it gives you.

I like my flat RCA because I can put stuff on top of the TV set.  Say, for instance, a radio, coasters, another TV, microwave... anything but the NES itself, unless you have wireless controllers. I hate when the cords go in front of the screen. >:(

What kind of connection do the C64 monitors take?

As far as I know Commodore monitors come with a built-in speaker and volume control, but if not (or if you want stereo sound, say from a Genesis/SNES) you can always get a cheap pair of amplified computer speakers and an RCA to 3.5mm adapter. I do that with my gaming CRT TV which only has mono sound :).

Amen to that :).

Since you live in Seattle, I bet Craigslist would be a great place to find an older tv. If there are none posted for sale, post a wanted to buy ad. You may even be able to get one for free from someone.

i play on a 13 samsung from 1993 used for 16 bit consoles, and a RCA? from 1982 to play atari. everything else is on a 36 eca i got for free. id sell the RCA to you but its so damn heavy it cost a fortune.
