I just recieved my original NES! It comes with SMB and a couple of controllers, but no power adapter :'( i tried the one that comes with my famiclone one and my Sega one but their jacks are both too small for the NES. I'm gonna go to the store and buy one,but i have no idea about it's specifications - jack size, voltage etc. Can anyone please give me info about that?

The original is 9VAC 850mA, Anything between 9 and 12V DC center negative and at least 800mA will work. As for the jack size, you'll have to bring your NES to the store to test it out, or buy one of those universal adapters with lots of different sized plugs.

Input: AC 120v  60hz 17w
output: AC 9v 1.3a
You use it with NES-001
Sorry folks.

Ok,guys i brought my nes to the store and they only had some of those multi-size jacks, multi-voltage adapter,so we set it to 9V and found the jack that fits and turn on the NES and the red light started blinking. Is it supposed to be blinking. If not, does it definately mean the problem is in the NES,cause the guy I bought it from said it was tested with a snes adapter and works fine... What should i do?

They always blink without a game or when the cartridge isn't correctly connecting to the pins inside. Try blowing into the cartridge or cleaning it with alcohol.
