Sakura Samurai (3DS).  It's a fun little game, with mechanics not unlike Punchout!, in that you have to learn enemy movements, dodge, and then counter-attack.

I managed to finish up Adventure Island for NES after all these years. The repetitive levels and music make me really appreciate the later installments in the series.

Mega Man 9 for the Wii Virtual Console. And now I'm not playing this game ever again, because TornadoMan and PlugMan along with certain sections in WIly's castle that are just too annoying to want to go through again. Good game though. Great music.
