Here is my list of stuff for sale.

Something pretty cool happened the other day. I was poking around and found a stash of about 1000 used multicarts. There was some mouth-wateringly awesome stuff in there. I only bought about 25, some to sell, some to keep, but I'm going back again - of course. This is the very beginning of the stuff I'm going to put up here (I can also get a hold of non-multicart stuff, but I'm focusing on the multicarts for now).

All games have been tested and cleaned. Note that these carts never came in boxes and in some cases the manufacturing quality isn't exactly top-notch - some of the labels have been pasted on crooked, etc. Since most of the carts are used, there's no guarantee I can get my hands on the same stuff again.

Please offer feedback on what you want, what you'll pay, etc. I can get a lot more stuff and as I get off this thing off the ground I'll be thinking about what to get and how to put it out there. Just in case you're wondering, I already asked for Super Mario World and the guy didn't have it. :( But for goodness sake, this dude has 1000 used FC carts, so if you update me about any requests, I can definitely keep my eyes open when I go back.

S+H, etc.: S+H will be $3 for one cart, $1 for each additional in the US, or more if you're elsewhere (PM me for a quote). Carts will be shipped from the US. Send me a PM listing the games you want and I'll give you a payment link. Feel free to ask and I will show you a link to my eBay feedback.

Okay! Here's the stuff I have to sell:

5-in-1: Fatal Fury Special, Samurai Spirits, Somari, TMNT: Tournament Fighters, Kyoryu Sentai ZyuRanger (Power Rangers) - $20
Two original Chinese ports of SNK fighting games, plus Somari. :)

4-in-1 (yes, I know it says 5-in-1 on the cart): Street Fighter 12 (actuallly SFII, of course), Mortal Kombat 4, Mortal Kombat 5, Mickey Mousecapades - $20
I'm not sure if these are really Mortal Kombat 4 and 5, or what, but anyway they're two different original Chinese ports.

4-in-1: Pretty Girl Fighter (Sukeban Keiji III), Terra Cresta, Castelvania, New Son Son (Saiyuki World) - $12
Nothing all that weird, but has a couple of games that don't come around too often.

Super Lion King - $20

3-in-1: Sonic 5, Tom & Jerry, Chip & Dale: Rescue Rangers 2 (Japanese version) - $20
Sonic 5 is a fairly impressive port of Sonic 1 for Genesis. The game starts in the Spring Yard Zone level. I haven't played far enough to know what happens next. :)

4-in-1: Digimon, Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 2, Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 3, Super C - $20
The Digimon game is really weird. It seems to be a hack of something, since there's Japanese text throughout the game, but I don't know what. And I'd swear I recognize that music from somewhere else. The two DBZ games are ports from Super Famicom.

4-in-1: Jurassic Park, Felix the Cat, Snow Bros, Fifa International 96 - $12
The soccer game is in Japanese and I'm guessing it's a hack of something.

Original Message:

Hi there.

So I'm living in China and have found a cache of pirate Famicom stuff... not too easy to find because newer systems are more popular here these days. I saw some Zelda games, Harvest Moon and Dragon Quest games, Pokemon games, multicarts featuring stuff like Mortal Kombat, Aladdin 3, and tons more original Chinese-made games.

I'm guessing some people might be interested in some of this stuff? Problem is, I'm not sure what to get and how much to get. If you want something, please let me know (include the amount of $$$ you'd be willing to part with :) ) and I'll keep my eyes open. As I said, there's way too much stuff for me to list out here.

At this point I just have a few things I bought for myself. I found a multicart with Boogerman on it, for example... is that something people are interested in?

Let me know.

Bramsworth

More and more people are going to start coming and asking this. I can feel it :P

manuel

More and more rivals.  ;)

A cheap Rockman pirate with all 6 games would be nice.

nintendodork

I agree with Manuel on the Rockman pirate.  That would be cool.  To get the obvious out of the way, if you ever to see a multi that says JY 45-in-1, and it has something resembling Super Mario World on the label, lot's of people want it.
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat

I'm interested in Waixing an Nanjing originals, but not CIB.

I'd like a Super Mario Family '92 with the Mario games on it.  Specifically these are:

- Mario Bros.
- Super Mario Bros 1
- Super Mario Bros 2 (japan)
- Super Mario Bros 3
- Super Mario Bros 2 USA

Think you can get that?  My old one broke I just found out.  I'd pay about 20 bucks for that.

Meh. So far I haven't been blown away by anyone else’s offerings. People always talk big about being in China, finding caches, offering to get stuff… Never seems to amount to anything other than a handful of random loose carts or empty promises. No disrespect mind you, but that’s just the way I see it. The only person who I really see that delivers in quality and quantity is Trenton_net, and to a lesser extent Bramsworth (when he has stuff). But even then, it’s not really a fair comparison when going up against Trenton.

There were one on Ebay one or two month(s) ago.

I found out literally just last night that it's ko'd.  It used to work fine, then the SMB3 wouldn't load and now the whole thing won't load!

Why would you want them not CIB when they're so abundant CIB. I think pretty much any Nanjing and Waixing game is pretty easy to find. May as well get it complete since it's available IMO.

So here's the way I'm gonna do this... soon, I'll make a run and grab some things, taking into account things that people want if I can find them. Then I'll make a list and sell a small batch of stuff. If the trial goes well, I'll continue selling more carts next year. I'm headed back to the US for some r+r soon and I won't have a lot of time to do business this month. It does look like this first batch will include some unique stuff, including some interesting used items, so stayed tuned to this thread. :)

For example, I have the chance to get some Famicom EPROM cartridges. Is there a demand for those?

I'd say if you are in China, have time, and are persistent, you can find a lot of stuff. Speaking Chinese helps. Older pirate things, for example that Super Mario World cart everyone wants (I want it too, but have never seen it...), turn up randomly, while other things are more reliable. You can find those Waixing carts, etc., but you never know exactly which titles are going to turn up. Black market video game stuff isn't really well organized. So I guess that's the role I want to play.

I can definitely get my hands on stuff, it's just a matter of whether there's demand or not. I'm still trying to test the waters, and maybe this will become a more permanent thing if it looks like it will go well.

Bramsworth

Well, since you're over there try to keep an eye out for a Kirby's Super Star for Genesis/Megadrive. One elusive pirate I've not even seen once, but I know it exists.

Sure, I haven't even gotten into the non-Famicom stuff because FC is the system I like best and know the most about. :) But there's all kinds of stuff for other systems, especially Gameboy comes to mind, so I can keep my eyes open for other stuff, too.

Totally helps if you know Chinese, but helps even more if your local as well. The second people smell a foreigner prices magically get jacked up by 200%  ::)

ericj

I find the same thing happens every time I try to get something from Hong Kong. The bastards suddenly think it's worth more than it's weight in gold. I think it's insulting and always decline the purchase price they offer. I'm not referring to anyone on this site, though.

Trenton_net

I've seen it happen too many times to count. I walk up and get something for $8 bucks, plus haggle something for free as a gift. Some foreigner comes up to buy the same thing and the seller quotes at $50+. Despite any negotiation, the seller refuses to budge the price and would even rather let the customer walk away than just charge a little bit less. Ridiculous!
