It almost looks like a repro cart to me because of the quality of the case art.

I tend to agree that it looks much more meticulously designed and assembled than most pirates. I'd be willing to say it's a repro, not your standard mass-produced boxed hack. I've seen pirates in those types of plastic cases, but the labeling is never so professional.

It certainly looks like a repro rather than a mass produced.  Those Chinese hacks you're lucky to get a matching label at all.

As for a translation, here's an IPS I made that'll put the girl graphics into the US RCR rom.  If there were any text changes made for the hack, this doesn't have them.

Hey, that is pretty neat. I think I have a copy of River City Ransom, on a pirate Nekketsu collection. Still, this hack would be fun, just for variety's sake. Cool score, definitely an interesting addition to your collection.
