Thanks, manuel. What about the top left? It may be harder to read because of the glare. :-\

The game titles are written in the explaning text, so no need to read on the photos with the glare. ;)

The upper left title is:
"Bishoujo Shashinkan Studio Cut"
That would translate into "Beautiful Girl Photo Studio Studio Cut"

Thanks, manuel. That's a new one to me. Well, it's on the games list, but as a Hacker, not a Phoenix. I'll have to track down the ROM copyright.

JC sure is into porn games... :D

And you're kind of right...but more so fascinated by the lack of info about them. Besides, Sachens are boring 'cause most collectors know just about everything there is to know about them, aside from the damn phone number used to order them. :P

Hey everyone I'm new to the community but I've been collecting Famicom games for several years. I'm English speaking but I know Japanese fairly well. I don't know kanji though. I have two games I need identifying. What image host is recommend to view images on this forum?

manuel

Okay guys, I need help idenfiying these two games. One is made by Namco and the other is made by Capcom. They are both platformers. Beyond that I can't say much about them.

thanks in advance.

Jedi Master Baiter

That bottom one reminds me of Trojan. :-\ It even has a destroyed car in the background. :D

Does anyone know the story of this game? It seems very strange.

madman

Yea, that's the Japanese version of Trojan.  Tatakai no Banka.

satoshi_matrix

the capcom game is Tatakai no Banka? Great thanks. What about the Namcot game with the kanji title?

manuel

The Namco game above is called
"Youkai Douchuuki".
Translation is a bit tough, but is something along the lines of "Chronicles of the Ghosts' Journey".
It was released on 06.24 in 1988.

Thanks for the link. Interesting box. Looks like it says "Yasusa Fire and Marine Safety Rally."

satoshi_matrix

Hey thanks madman & manuel. You guys were really helpful. Do either of you (or anyone else) know much about these games?

JC

Don't know much, except that the Capcom one is parallel to the NES's Trojan.

manuel

I don't know much about these games. I only can find out release dates and manufacturer and stuff like that.
But I guess it's easy to find a rom and try it out on an emulator.

madman

Yea, Trojan is a pretty common NES game.  As with most of Capcom's NES titles, it's pretty solid.
