I quite like the game myself. Here's a fan translation if you're looking for more info.

imperator

I'm looking for the title game.

1. Is this game is "Searching Fortune" or has a different title?

2. I searched and found nothing. What is the title of this game?

First one is エルナークの財宝, which means something like "Treasure of Elnark".

Second one looks like some hacked version of 幽遊白書 爆闘暗黒武術会, which is a fighting game based on the Yu Yu Hakusho franchise.  The official version is for the Datach unit and uses a barcode scanner.  That version must have programmed out the barcode features or something.

Its a common multi cart worth about $5-10

Has anybody seen one of these before? I got this in a lot of famicom cartridges many moons ago, but I've been unable to find any pictures or
information about it anywhere. Only the white cart and pulse label ones. It's slightly larger than regular famicom carts and the only thing I can make out from the back is "IC"

Is it legit or fake? Is it somehow different besides the color?

BonBon

That is an official pirate sir. I've seem many pirates with that same IC shell and in a variety of different colors.

fcgamer

Yup, I have some like that.  A pirate, albeit a quality one.

So, being pretty new to identifying Famicom games that don't have the English title written in readable form, I need some assistance looking at the following pictures of lot of Famicom stuff that possibly would be a trade object for me.

The primary thing I need to know is: are there any titles amoung the listet worth playing? When evaluating this I need to point out that I don't understand Japanese and don't really enjoy that many era sport games, besides from track and field etc. - but one could be surprised. RPGs in Japanese only and weird Japanese games have no real interrest - so what's really left worth playing, and how would you guys value the lot of CIB games + the (pirate?) Famicom console.

The sheer volume of CIB games seems tempting and overwelming, but am I being tempted by quantity alone, with no real substance and playability amoung the games?

That is a lot of games, but the vast majority of them are RPGs and sports titles. Cutting out games that require knowledge of the language and sports games, here's what you're left with (assuming I didn't miss any):

Goonies 2 (knowing Japanese does help, but it's not strictly required)
Star Soldier
Hector '87
Rally Bike
Yoshi's Cookie
Yoshi's Egg
Wario's Woods
Baltron
Bomberman
Star Force
Binary Land
F1 Hero
Tower of Druaga
Hikari no Senshi Photon: The Ultimate Game on Planet Earth
Tetris
Tetris Flash
Joy Mech Fight
King Kong 2

Nothing really special there, not one game I'd consider an A-list title. If you're looking for games to play and not just collect, that might not be the best bundle for you.

百の世界の物語
Hyaku no Sekai no Monogatari: The Tales on a Watery Wilderness

Don't have any information on it, though.

(You need to check bootgod's "missing" page for rarer titles ;))

It's a great RPG-parody boardgame as you can see. I've played it a lot and strongly recommend it. It's a good party game but also fun to play 1 player.
