Some corrections to kite's answer:

Reigen Doushi was a Hongkong movie and is known as "Mr Vampire" as English title.
"ryou maboroshi doushi" : such a spelling is highly uncommon. If you read the characters properly it's - yes - Reigen Doushi. (You should post me pic to make sure, though)

For "chuuka taisen" a picture would be nice. I assume it's 中華大戦. This would mean "Great Chinese War".

Nazo no Kabe doesn't mean "Mystery of the Wall", but the other way round: "Wall of Riddles" or "Mysterious Wall", as you like.
Mystery of the wall would be Kabe no nazo. 

For Gegege no Kitarou look up the wikipedia page. It's informative:

Chuuka Taisen is labeled as 中華大戦 with hiragana above it so that's correct.
Reigen Doushi is written entirely in kanji so I can't read it at all. It's refered to on many sites including wikipedia as  "ryou maboroshi doushi" so that's why I said that. The name Reigen Doushi was used when I bought it from Kris before he closed up shop.
Gegege is what I was wondering about too....it doesn't seem to be a word, I thought it might be onamonapia like doki doki panic.

I have a question about what else is written on Gegege no Kitaro. What's written in black above the game title and what is written in purple at the bottom?

The black is Family Computer (you should know that by now  ).

The purple is "Youkai Daimakyou" (妖怪代魔境).  That's the subtitle of the game.  I'm not sure what that means.

No, no, Kite. UglyJoe had one kanji wrong. It's 大 (big) and not 代 (generation).

Personally I'd translate it to: Gegege no Kitarou - The Demon World (literally it would be "The big Demon World", but that sounds kinda off for my taste)

Hey guys, I'm going to get schooled hardcore for asking this but ehhh we're all friends here right  .

All the famicom Rockman games are labeled in romanji Rockman on their cartridges, though other games such as Rockman Mega World for the Mega Drive is labeled in katakana as ロックマン.

My question: what is the second symbol in ロックマン? The ッ? Katakana always screws me up because of the similarity of the symbols. I know that shi and tsu are very close in appearnce and can't determine which one it is, and more to the point, why its even there. You could spell Rockman perfectly fine as simply ロクマン, so why the ッ?

It's a little tsu, it doubles the consonant of the superseding syllable.

example:
イカ    = Ika
イッカ = Ikka

you kinda pause for a sec when saying it.

you don't actually pronounce the little tsu as tsu
